Melbourne autumn

It’s safe to say that my love affair with autumn continues. I couldn’t help a cheeky run through the last of the falling autumn leaves in Melbourne this weekend. As many of you know from my time in Europe, I’m such a sucker for pretty autumn colours — they get me all stirred up!

I hope you’ve had a lovely weekend so far. It’s a long one over here in Melbourne, which would usually have been lovely, except that we spent a chunk of it at the Emergency Department because Ben fractured his foot! There’s not even a cool story behind it. He just fell awkwardly going up our stairs. Between both of us, we’re not doing too well over here on the foot injury front!

Other things? Last week was mostly about work, finalising campaigns for clients and working on some new freelance travel stories. Next weekend I’m off to Sydney for The Travel Bootcamp which I am so excited about. I haven’t been to Sydney in many, many years so if you have any tips, I’d love to hear from you!
