Sunday Selections

July 12, 2015

Hey there! So I’m a little bit excited this Sunday. This is the last Sunday, maybe ever, that I have to dread going into work the following day. That’s right. There are some big changes happening around here, in two days in fact. Wednesday is the beginning of an exciting, new chapter for me and I can’t wait to tell you guys all about what it means and why it’s happening. Check back on the blog next week for some pretty big news I’ll be sharing!

How has your weekend been, friends? Mine has been delightfully quiet. You know when you feel THAT exhausted, that you just crave bottomless cups of tea, comfy pants and a whole lot of couch time? That was me this weekend. It’s been a pretty tough slog these past few weeks and I’ve really been trying to look after myself and listen to my body. There were a few coffee dates and little outings to get food, but that was about the extent of it. Maybe your weekend was more exciting? To tell you the truth, I don’t mind weekends like this every now and again. Sometimes we just need some down time, don’t we?

Do you remember last weekend that I mentioned that I went on a Street Art Tour? This is one of the snaps from the afternoon. There are pieces like this dotted all over Berlin. Look out for the post about it all soon!

Here are this week’s favourite links:

WATCH: I love this video that celebrates 100 years of fitness in 100 seconds. Such fun!

READ: Ever wondered what the places in some of the world’s most loved adventure novels actually look like in real life? This post shows you.

EAT: Are any of you guys on the superfood bowl craze? I’m not yet and this post has got me asking myself why I’m not!

MAKE: This is a cute idea for organising your jewellery.

BUY: You may have guessed by now, but I can’t get enough of cute summer rompers this time of year! I think I need this one too.

GO: Last week, I received probably the most exciting offer ever. As part of my role as a World of Wanderlust contributing writer, I was asked whether I’d be interested in flying to Tuscany to review a 16th century luxury villa. Ummm, let me think about that one. Yes please! I’ll be heading there at the end of the month for an incredible three nights and am almost falling off my chair with excitement as I type this. Stay tuned on WOW for the review!

Have a fabulous week, friends! x
