Oh Roma. After visiting for only a weekend last summer, it was immediately clear to me how easy it would be to fall in love with the city and never return. There’s a genuine romance about Rome; the little cobblestoned lanes of Trastevere, the peeling paint of the buildings, the passionate exchanges between locals, an aperitivo in the warm sunshine before a bowl of peppery carbonara or a fresh caprese salad. Rome, you got me. I’m aching to go back! These photographs from my visit last year have me scheming about when I can return.

I loved Rome! I was there for a week over Easter, so it was crazy busy. The forum was easily my favorite spot in the city (I just love visiting historical sites).

Wow, I can imagine that Easter in Rome would be crazy busy Claire! I loved all the historical sites too but also adored just aimlessly strolling around all the little laneways and ducking into little bars for a late afternoon negroni!
A Rome, a beautiful place - these photos are gorgeous, and definitely want me to go back again! The last time I went was in the Summer, which was a little too hot so Spring sounds wonderful!

Oh Rome… the city stole my heart a few years ago, and now I’m dreaming of moving there for a while to explore it in depth and get to know every detail of it. Your photos are beautiful, you’re lucky to have had the stairs at the Piazza di Spagna just for yourself - every time I’ve been, there was so many people everywhere!
