Big News: I'm Joining the World of Wanderlust Team!

There’s some big news to share on The Department of Wandering today.

I’m joining the World of Wanderlust Team!

If you follow me on Facebook, you may have seen my announcement a few weeks ago that I am joining the World of Wanderlust Team this year. Brooke Saward, founder of WOW is expanding her brand in 2015 and has hired a few carefully selected contributing writers based around different parts of the world to bring WOW readers the most up-to-date, expert content from key locations.

The new team includes:

♥ Emma Bates — The Londoner

♥ Emma Kate Codrington — The Aussie

♥ Kate Thorn — The Everywhereist

Brooke has been travelling solo around the world since January 2014 and I’ve been following along on her inspiring journey through her blog and through Instagram for a while now. When I learnt that she would be spending a few months in Berlin late last year, I reached out to her. We hung out for a while, had breakfast at a special Berlin brunch event and swapped travel stories.

This is hugely exciting news, given the significant influence of WOW in the travel blogging world. In 2015 over 6 million people will visit WOW, with over 500,000 + unique visitors and over 1 million page views per month.

As ‘The Expat’ blogger, I’ll be writing weekly posts for WOW about expat life as well as Berlin in general.
