This week’s Sunday Selections has officially become a Monday Selections. After spending the most delightful weekend away with nine other lovely ladies, which involved lots of laughs, a little too much wine and a great deal of nudity, I do admit that I was quite exhausted last night when I returned to Berlin. Minds out of the gutter, people. All can be explained. Stay tuned for that. It’s interesting, I promise.
In the meantime, this was my little corner of the world on Saturday afternoon.
WATCH: This video makes me want to book another flight back to Turkey and explore this vibrant, colourful nation some more. Wow!
READ: Food is inseparable from culture, that’s a given. Matthieu Paley’s exploration of how food is inextricably linked to our ancestral ties is fascinating reading and his focus on the high altitude diet of the Kyrgyz nomadic people of Afghanistan particularly so.
EAT: Now that autumn has well and truly asserted its presence here in Europe, I’m becoming more and more excited about cooking with this season’s staples. This delightful pumpkin bread with walnuts is beckoning.
MAKE: Aren’t these personalised DIY enamel camping mugs great? Remind someone how special they are to you with a thoughtful, personal message.
BUY: I have to admit, that I am looking forward to being able to stock up on cute, snuggly winter tights like these as the cold creeps closer and closer.
GO: A post-trip lull has me daydreaming about the next escape. Can it be to one these 48 epic hotels to visit before you die?
Wishing you a sunny week in your corner of the world!
