As you might have seen on Instagram, I escaped down to beautiful Rome for a lovely few days with Ben this past weekend. We’re leaving Europe in less than two weeks after a busy few months and were desperate for a little weekend away before we head back home to Australia. But where to go? If I’m honest, there was only one real option.
This was my second time in Rome, so rather than feeling the pressure to run around and see all the sights, we followed our noses instead and spent most of the weekend eating our way through the city, exploring its tangle of cobblestoned lanes and making the (very) most of aperitivo time. The blog posts are coming soon but in the meantime, here’s a little sneak peek at what we got up to in the eternal city:

Rome was a great pick for being your last stop in Europe before heading back to Australia. The next time I go to Rome, I’ll be sure to follow my nose as you did! The food was amazing! I found this one spot there away from all the hustle and bussle of the city and it was so great! Went back each day for dinner 🙂 Enjoy Roma 😉
Oh I love finding those places! We found a tiny place called La Locanda del Prosciutto that we went back to each day – it was THAT good! Can’t wait to share more soon x
