So I’ve been a little spoilt this weekend.
I’ve been in Barcelona for work, attending a conference. Not a half bad city to travel to for work, I must say. It could be worse. I’ve been trying to make the most of my little getaway in the free time that I’ve had, strolling around the Gothic quarter and the El Born neighbourhood, wandering down to the beach and indulging in as much tapas, paella and wine that I can reasonably consume!
I’m booked on the last flight back to Berlin tonight, so Sunday in Spain, here I come.
This week’s favourite links are:
WATCH: I think I’ve fallen even more in love with Paris (is that even possible?) after glimpsing these little snippets of life shot through a Pentax 67. Oh, Paris.
READ: There are some pretty compelling reasons why the Millennial Generation (which I belong to) has earned the nickname ‘Generation Rent’. Read about why the nomadic lifestyle is so appealing to us in ‘Generation Rent: Why Many Millennials are Choosing a Nomadic Lifestyle’.
EAT: After my little trip to Spain this weekend, I’m in need of a little detox when I get back to Berlin, that’s for sure. This superfood bowl is exactly the thing to counteract all of that wine, those croquettes and the paella I’ve been (rightly) indulging in!
MAKE: Crafting your own cards is such a thoughtful gesture isn’t it? These DIY embossed cards create a beautiful finished product. How special.
BUY: I’m in the market for some new, warm boots to get me through the Berlin winter. I have my eyes on these ones.
GO: I’ve got a bit of an itch to get back to London soon. It must be the cold weather. It just seems natural to visit London when its chilly, don’t you think? Trottermag’s beautifully curated London city guide will come in handy.
Happy November, friends! Wishing you a happy week ahead.
